AxisAlign holds some of your most personal information — health, finances, family, and home. We treat it that way. Here's how we protect it.
How we protect your data
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
- Strict access controls — every user's data is isolated with database row-level security; one person can never see another's data.
- Secrets are stored in a secured environment, never in our code.
- Continuous monitoring — uptime checks and error tracking alert us to issues quickly.
- Safe deployments — every change is automatically tested before it goes live, with instant rollback to a known-good version.
- Data minimization — we don't keep what we don't need (for example, scanned receipt images aren't stored, and location metadata is stripped from photos).
Your privacy rights
- Download your data anytime, in one click.
- Delete your account and all your data permanently, anytime.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- You control what's shared in Care Circle, per category, and can revoke it anytime.
Payments & sensitive data
Payments are processed by Stripe; AxisAlign never sees or stores your full card details. Health and financial information is encrypted and access-controlled.
Compliance
We build to GDPR and CCPA/CPRA privacy principles, and our security program is being formalized toward SOC 2. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available to business customers on request.
