Privacy Policy
The short version
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your content to train AI models.
- Sharing with another person happens only when you grant it, and you can revoke it.
- You can download everything, and you can delete everything.
1. Who is responsible
Axis Align LLC, a Louisiana company, is the controller of personal data processed through the Services. Contact: privacy@axisalign.life, or by mail to Axis Align LLC, 601 Kingston Rd, Ste 300 #1021, Benton, LA 71006.
Where you use an AxisAlign app to hold information about your clients, candidates or contacts, you are the controller of that information and we process it on your behalf.
2. What we collect
- Account data: name, email address, authentication records, plan and billing status.
- Content you create: whatever you put into an app. Depending on the app this can include health and food logs, budgets and transactions, calendar and email content you connect, contacts and clients, invoices, documents and growing plans.
- Assistant conversations: what you ask Axis and what it answers, plus a record of consequential actions it takes for you.
- Technical data: log data, device and browser information, and error reports, used to keep the Services running and secure.
- People who sign agreements through Pro Axis: when someone signs an agreement that a Pro Axis customer sent them, we record the name they type, the email address the agreement is associated with, the date and time, their IP address, their browser type, the version of the consent notice they accepted, a fingerprint of the agreement text, and when the agreement was opened and signed. When a Pro Axis customer countersigns, we record the same details about them and the business they signed for.
- Website forms: if you ask to be alerted when an app opens, we store your first name and email address to send you that one email per opening, until you unsubscribe. If you apply to the affiliate program, we store your legal name, email address, business name if given, the handles or links you provide, the program you chose, your description of your audience, to review the application and, if you are approved, to run the program and pay you.
Cookies and tracking on this website. axisalign.life sets no cookies except one: if you arrive through an affiliate link (a web address ending in ?ref= and a code), we store that code in a first-party cookie for 45 days so the affiliate is credited if you create an account. It holds only the code and the date, and nothing is sent to anyone else. The site runs no advertising or social-media trackers. We count page visits with cookie-free analytics served from our own domain through our hosting provider, Vercel. It records the page, the referring site, and general country, device and browser type, and it does not store your IP address or identify you. We use these numbers only to improve the site and never sell or share them. Fonts are served from our own domain too. If you submit a form, your entry is stored in our database and, for the affiliate form, emailed to us through our email provider. If you use the Help Center assistant, your question is sent to our AI provider to answer it and is not stored. The only thing stored in your browser is your choice if you press Pause motion.
Cookies in the apps. Signing in to an AxisAlign app sets the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect your session. Those are strictly necessary. The only other cookie is the 45-day affiliate referral cookie described above, set when you arrive through an affiliate link. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics that track you across other sites. Because we do not track you across sites, a browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal changes nothing: there is nothing to opt out of. A seller's own pixels on a Pro Axis shop page are covered in section 5.
We practise data minimisation: for example, scanned receipt images are not retained, and location metadata is stripped from photos you upload.
3. Why we process it
- To provide the Services you asked for (performance of a contract).
- To keep them secure, prevent abuse and fix faults (legitimate interests).
- To take payment and meet accounting obligations (contract and legal obligation).
- To send service messages you need, and marketing only where you asked for it (consent, withdrawable at any time).
- To create a reliable record of an electronic signature and to email a signed copy to the parties, on behalf of the Pro Axis customer who sent the agreement (performance of a contract with that customer).
4. What the shared platform means for your data
AxisAlign apps read and write to one shared platform. That is what lets a client you invoice in one app be the same person another app already knows, with no export and no duplicate record.
Two things this does not mean. It does not mean other users can see your records: access is enforced per account at the database level, with row-level security. And it does not mean every app helps itself to everything: an app sees the records its function requires, under your account.
5. Sharing with other people
Care circle (My Axis). You choose who to invite, and you choose category by category what each person can see and what they can do. Access takes effect only when you grant it, and you can revoke it at any time. Revoking stops future access immediately.
Workspaces and teams (Pro Axis and business apps). Where you run more than one business, each has its own profile, books and payout settings, and members are granted access per workspace with a role. Records stay scoped to the workspace they belong to.
Your clients. Where you send an invoice, a booking link or a portal invitation, the recipient sees what that document contains. You control what you send.
Agreements and signatures. When a Pro Axis customer sends an agreement for signature, the customer is responsible for the information about the person signing, and we process it on the customer's behalf. The signature details listed in section 2 are included in the signature certificate that both parties receive. If you signed an agreement and have a question about your information, contact the business that sent it; you can also email privacy@axisalign.life and we will pass your request to them.
Seller pixels. A seller using Pro Axis may add advertising pixels (Meta, Google, TikTok or Pinterest) to their own shop and booking pages. Those pixels are configured by the seller, disclosed on the page, and governed by the seller's and the network's policies. AxisAlign does not run advertising pixels on its own sites.
6. AI and the Axis assistant
Axis is powered by third-party large language models. When you use it, the content needed to answer your request, your message and the relevant records from your account, is sent to that model provider to generate a response.
- Your content is not used to train models, ours or theirs.
- Axis only ever operates within what your account is permitted to see.
- Requests you do not make are not sent. If you do not use the assistant, nothing goes to a model provider.
- Consequential actions taken on your behalf are recorded so you can review them.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers and bank details are handled by Stripe and never touch AxisAlign servers; we receive only what we need to show your billing status. Where you connect your own Stripe account to take money from your customers, Stripe is also processing their payment details, under Stripe's terms.
8. Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the Services. They act on our instructions, are bound by confidentiality, and receive only what their function requires.
- Supabase: database, authentication and file storage.
- Vercel: hosting, anonymous cookieless request logs, and cookie-free visit counts for this website.
- Stripe: payments and billing.
- Resend: transactional email.
- Anthropic, Groq and Google: the AI models behind Axis, including Llama models served by Groq (built with Llama). Your content is not used to train them.
- Google, Microsoft and Zoom: your calendar, email and meeting accounts, only if you connect them. See "Connected accounts" below.
- Tavily: web search behind research features.
- Plaid: bank connections, only if you connect a bank in My Axis.
- Sentry: error monitoring.
- Cloudflare: the Turnstile security check on sign-in and sign-up pages, which looks at browser signals to tell people from bots.
- Google Fonts: some typefaces inside the apps load from Google's font service, which receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
- Your browser's speech service: if you use dictation, your browser turns speech into text with its own service (Google in Chrome, Apple in Safari), under that company's terms.
- Domain registries: when you check a web address in Brand Axis, the address you type is looked up through public registration (RDAP) and DNS services, including Cloudflare DNS.
Connected accounts (Google, Microsoft and Zoom). You can choose to connect a Google, Microsoft or Zoom account in My Axis or Pro Axis. Nothing is connected unless you approve it on that provider's own sign-in screen, and you can disconnect at any time.
- What we access: only what the screen you approve lists. For calendars: your upcoming events, so they show in your calendar, and the ability to add an event (with a Google Meet, Teams or Zoom link) when someone books time with you. For email: reading your inbox so it shows in My Axis, and sending a message from your own address only when you press send. For Zoom: creating a meeting link for a booking.
- How we use it: only to show you your own calendar and email and to create the events, meetings and messages you ask for. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and people cannot read it except where you ask us for support, security requires it, or the law requires it.
- How we keep it: the access token is kept in our database (encrypted at rest), locked to your account, and never shown in the app. Your emails and events are fetched when you open them and are not kept as a copy. Details of events we create for a booking (the time and meeting link) are stored with that booking.
- Sharing: we do not share it with anyone, except the service providers above where needed to run the feature you use. If you ask the Axis assistant about your calendar or email, only the items needed to answer are sent to the AI model provider for that answer. Data from these accounts is never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.
- Deleting it: disconnecting removes the stored token straight away. You can also remove access from your Google, Microsoft or Zoom account settings, or email privacy@axisalign.life.
AxisAlign's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Where data is processed
We are based in the United States, sell only to customers in the United States, and our providers process data there.
10. Retention
We keep your content for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account we delete your content, with a short operational window for backups to age out. We keep the minimum records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices for tax purposes. A signed agreement and its signature record cannot be edited or deleted on their own, so that the record stays reliable for both parties. They are deleted when the business that holds them deletes its workspace or account, with the same short window for backups to age out.
11. Your rights
- Download your data at any time, from your account or by emailing privacy@axisalign.life.
- Delete your account and your data, permanently, at any time. Signed agreements are deleted with the account or workspace that holds them, not one by one (see section 10).
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent for marketing, without affecting anything else.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents. This policy is our notice at collection. You have the right to know what we collect and why (sections 2 and 3), to delete it, to correct it, and to be free from discrimination for asking. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is no "Do Not Sell or Share" choice to make. To exercise a right, email privacy@axisalign.life; we will verify the request through your account email and respond within 45 days. An authorised agent may act for you with your written permission.
We build to CCPA/CPRA principles. We do not sell or share personal information as that law defines it, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising a right. To exercise any of these, email privacy@axisalign.life.
12. Children
The Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Where My Axis lets a parent keep a child's profile, the Children's Privacy notice applies. If you believe a child has given us data, email privacy@axisalign.life and we will remove it.
13. Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, per-account isolation with row-level security, secrets held outside the codebase, error monitoring, and deployments that can be rolled back. More detail is on the Security and Trust page. Report a concern to security@axisalign.life.
14. Changes
If we change this policy materially we will notify account holders before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
15. Contact
